A ban on cell phones in the school system is creating an uproar among parents and students. Teenagers has to be sneaking in their phones hiding it under their clothes and in their bags. And their parents are insisting they need to stay in touch with their children in case of another Sept. 11. Parents have written angry letters and e-mails, news conferrence, and even threatened to sue. Some city Council members are introducing legislation on their behalf. But Michael Mayor Bloomberg and Schools Joel Klein have staunchly refused to drop the ban. It is unconstitutional to ban cell phones in public high schools. It also violates the parents rights. I think cell phones shouldn't be ban from public schools.Monday, February 12, 2007
